thats what ive been doing all day long!

I'm exhaused and my nose is confused with all the different smells.

Its begining to look a lot like Christmas

I'm so horrible.

Its exactly 8 days before Christmas and Ive done no shopping and I have no inclination to do so either.

Its exactly 8 days before Christmas and I have not even finished decorating my tree.

(atleast we have presents)

Its exactly 8 days before Christmas and I have two reindeer who's lights have gone out and as my hubby says 'needs to be put to the pasture'.

(BTW, my answer to that, after laughing, was heck no just replace their lights)

Its exactly 8 days before Christmas and I havent decorated my wreath, and like shopping I have no inclination to do so.

There are no stocking to hang by any chimney, we well dont have a chimney but I starting putting some extra decorations I had in glass jars on our entertianment center.

And getting my son to take a pix infront of the tree... close to impossable. He just wanted to sleep.

About .25 seconds after I snaped this pix he was face down on the floor.

Blog Design

Hey everyone!

I need your help.

I have decided to snaz up my blog and go with a custom design.

As you can see I have tried to do things on my own using tutorials and have FAILED!

Mine as well leave it up to someone who knows what they're doing.

So my question is, who do you recommend?

Looking for suggestions for a total blog make over, background, header, button the works.... but I dont want to spend and arm and a leg.

Huge Heart; Little Fella

3 years ago one of my dear friends from high school gave us the news that her 23 month old son was diagnosed with cancer. How do you move forward from receiving that kind of news?
And as a friend how do you be there for someone going through something like this?

Its been a long journey for their family.

Here is their daughter Zoe and son Xander.

Alicia has been such a wonderful and dedicated mother through the entire process.

Everytime I saw their updates my heart would go out to them.

Their courage made me feel like anything is possable.

And then three years later a truly amazing thing happened.

Xander got his purple heart.

This purple heart means that he is at the end of his treatments.

What does all of that mean?

Getting the lights up

Daddy finally climbed up in the attic to bring down our christmas decorations.

My son was so very curious as to what he was doing.

Now my favorite part (aside from putting them all away) going through them and figuring which ones still work!

Happy Birthday to ME!

On Sunday I celebrated my double sweet sixteen. (32)

I find it hard to belive that Im in my 30s.

I got to sleep in till almost 9am (yay) and my husband cooked breakfast for us.

My mom and neice slept over and we got to hang out for most of the day.

I really enjoyed my day.

Gone are the days we would party into the early morning hours and I'm totaly fine with that.

And...... I got this.....

Yay! Happy Birthday to ME!!!

I cant wait to get started on all kinds of projects!
