I posted almost a year a go a spoiler alert that I had tried this new product.

 

 

I tried it just before the baby was born.

My mom kept giving me a hard time about using special soap for the baby and I have used Purex detergent and fabric softener for years and even when my first born was a baby.

 

I was not going to buy a separate detergent AND then wash the baby's clothes in a separate wash either!

 

Well I got this sample from the great people over at Purex.

It's the New Purex Crystals for baby!

I tried it on a huge load of baby clothes after my baby shower.

Just add to the wash like you would with any other Crystals product.

I like that it is Hypoallergenic, Dye Free and natural.

 

As always I am not disappointed with Purex.

I liked the smell although it did seem a little strong at first.

I guess depending on how you feel about putting your baby in heavily scented items of clothing. I liked that it smelled sweet and fresh and clean for a long time. It seemed to me the scent for the Crystal's for Baby lasted longer than the other scents.

Now I am using the Crystals for baby on all our clothes.

Getting back into the swing of things….

I’m getting back into the swing of things and getting a bit more focused.

We have been super busy knocking out a bunch of projects around the house and just catching up and living life in general. Haven’t quite found the time to post about all the things we’ve been doing but it’s coming!

But as I said last year, Christmas is growing on me all because of my lil guy. The older he gets he makes each holiday more and more enjoyable! Oh to see the world in a child eyes!

till death do us part? thats a long time

Today I'm joining Shell and pouring my heart out..



In 9 days my hubby and I will celebrate out 11 yr wedding anniversary.

I think saying we hit a rut would be an understatement, I would say more like we hit a dang wall.

Our 'love life' is as stale as a can of soda left open in the fridge for a week.

Our lives have just gotten so busy that we forget the little things.
I very often feel overwhelmed and feel like I've become a single parent because he's not home almost 5 nights a week. I come home and have to put the dishes away from the day before, do the dishes from that day, cook dinner, give my son a bath, feed him dinner and after working ALL day I'm exhaused and become short with him and angry towards him when he's not there to pitch in. And on top of it all dealing with the terrible twos... uggghhh!

I feel like I've lost myself in the cycle of just doing everything day in day out and never having time to do what I like to do or just even having time alone to myself.

Now, lets add the pressure of making ends meet and stressing about our financial situation.

I'm sure these are just normal things that every couple goes through and like always we work through it and it all works out but for the time being I am just having a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Dont get me wrong, I love my hubby dearly and couldnt imagine life without him.

Interestingly enough Helen over at I'm living proof that God has a sense of humor shared with everyone a new book called Make Love Not Scrapbooks, By Jen who has a blog called Jen's Love Lessons.

Sounds like a good investment.

Blog Anniversary....

Tomorrow From the Heart turns 1!

One year ago I had a crazy idea to start a blog.

It started as just talking about weddings since I love weddings and parties and I perform the ceremonies.

Then I got introduced to blogs like: All Things Thrifty, Kevin & Amanda, The Pioneer Woman, Bakerella and Vintage Revivals just fuled me to do more.

More with my blog, more in my home and more for special occasions.

I expanded from what I started as Weddings By Rhiannon to what it is today.

I have had such a great time meeting people, becoming blogger buddies, connecting with other women just like myself and learning so much.

Blogging takes up a lot of time and you really have to do it for the right reasons but its totally worth every minute of it.

I really appreciate all your support over the past year as I have grown and developed my own style and explored things I normally would never have tried.

I'll announce a few giveaways to say thank you to everyone, nothing spectacular but just somethings to say thanks!

Valentine Candy... evil lil suckers

I was never big on Valentines Day.

I cant explain it.. just watch last night's Cougar Town and it kinda explains it.

Anyone else feel that way?

Might be just me... ok anyways... one part of Valentines that I just cant do anymore is the CANDY!!!!

I have this tiny basket by my desk cause belive it or not, the boys love candy.

They have a weakness for anything chocolate and peanut butter put together. They pretend to be manly men who demolish stuff but reality is they giggle for chocolate.

But dont tell them I told you.

The down side is, I love candy too... and I just can't resist them either. Gosh its worse than over the holidays. Ive had atleast 2 little bars everyday for the past week. And telling myself they're miniatures doesnt help because candy is candy and the way Im going its just a downward spiral.

I --- MUST ---- STOP!!

I've been eating them so fast that I didnt even notice this on the back of the snickers bars.

hehehe

So this past weekend, I packed up my cricut and my laptop and spent some time with my friend Becky who gave me some lessons. It seems pretty easy to do so why havent I cut anything with it yet?

I need some mama time alone to play with my machine hehehe.

When we got home I had to unload everything again.

Becky on the other hand had these fabulous bags that carried everything.

Why is it that I sold my lap top bag at my last garage sale?

(actually it was too small for my laptop and not quite my style)
