can i get a jump?

Since being back from vacation, I've been finding it really hard to get back into the swing of things. I don't know if it's just getting back to a routine or making the time to get things done, or maybe the fact that my girlfriend Charity is visiting and we have girl time each night.
It's so nice to have her around and have a friend to talk to. She has 4 children of her own too so she totally understands what its like when my 3 yr old is having a melt down.
And then we can laugh about out kid stories.

Maybe being on vacation and going MIA for a while is what I needed.
I do feel rejuvinated. We haven't taken a family vacation since we brought my son to a weekend neighbor island getaway for his 1st birthday 2 years ago.
I have decided that he's getting older and we need to make memories that he will always remember and we need to do those kinds of things.

I also really feel the need to start new.
The way things were going for us, wasnt really working.
I felt tired and over worked and like I couldnt enjoy my family because I was too busy at home and at work.
I am determined to make whatever changes that needs to be made to not feel like I'm too busy for my family.
For example I have been cooking 2 meals every other night or so.
I havent vaccumed my house in a week!
YIKES! (that one is giving me slight anxiety)

I have also decided to declutter. How I accumulate so much is beyond me! Maybe thats why I feel so overwhelmed!
Were doing a community garage sale in July and I am determined to get rid of some things and make some extra cash.
I do have some vacation debt I have to get rid of!

One of my girlfriends sells items on ebay to help her pay for her child care costs.
What a great idea! I've started doing the same too, I'm not making as much money as she is, but a few extra bucks here and there is great!

Anyway, I have been rambling on and on and I personally hate reading a post that is long and has no pictures so I'll cut my own line now.

Thanks for listening, I'm linking up to

I'm with you on this post. Vacations are an important but expensive necessity. Toys sell great on eBay, so make sure to look them up before adding them to your garage sale. :)
