Conquering my fears

I am deathly afraid of heights.
Just the thought of it makes me weak in the knees!

Saturday was a beautiful day to conquer my fears.

As part of our End of the Year work party boss man took the employees Ziplinning.
Honestly people who live here dont get the chance often enough to enjoy and appreciate where we live.
Most times we cant afford it either but I have to say if you ever get the chance to do the 'touristy' things take it!

I admit it I was terrified but I really wanted to join in the fun.
I was having anxiety that morning and by the time we got geared up and to the first zip line I was shaking uncontrollably.
The first jump was the hardest just because of the unknown, but I have to say it was easy peasy!

This is one of our guides waiting for us on the other side.

Im a little stiff, still a little nervous but the views are gorgeous!

Heres our group, we traded in our hard hats for bike helmets for the day.

This was probably one of the scariest parts of the entire tour... untill the end, I'll tell you more later.
Not only am I deathly afraid of heights I am terrified by bridges.
And this one OH MY was a suspension bridge. NOTHING UNDER IT! There were 2X4s about 2 feet apart and then a drop, only God knows how far it was because I could not look down.

Here we are showing off the zipping equipment we had to wear all day.

Now this monster, its called King Kong. I'll tell you more about him later, stay tuned!
